Nature

Emerson's ideals confuse me. I believe in seperation of humans and nature. It is odd to read someone's thoughts of how everything has a soul or even shares a soul. If that is true doesn't that mean that we have brutally murdered billions of creatures. If trees, for example, have souls we have killed some many of them. We brutally cut them down and dispose of the body usually in a wood chipper, or even a paper mill.
His ideals are strange in my opinion. He speaks of the world in such a peacefull sanctuary that humans and nature can coexist so perfectly. Well we obviously can't, we destroy nature every hour of every day. We cut down trees, which depleates our forestes. We use nature's rocks to, for example, make our driveways or even the grounds for a public domain. We not only depleate nature, but mock it aswell; if we base our principles on Emerson's believes. We use it for our homes, our malls and buildings, but most importantly it help create more machines that will slowly decrease the world's nature. If you share the same believes that Emerson does, good luck saving our planet from complete failure.

Me as a Writer

Since my journey in high school began I have learned many things regarding writing. For example, grammar and puncation. I have also learned how to shorten my sentences, but compacting more information into them. I have also learned that if you have to take a breathe in mid speech your sentence is to long.
Besides the technical things of writing I have also learned how to profect myself as a writer and have a written voice. I have truly learned how to show my emotions through text and voice a respectful opinion. You, Mrs. Gilman, and my journalism teacher, Ms. Riley have both helped me profect my writing capabilities. Writting is my passion and to recieve a grade for it feels great.
