Many years ago there was a court case about a 15 year-old girl who was raped. After going to the police and identifing her "rapest" she tried her hardest to continue on with her life. Little did she know she had just made a terrible mistake. She idnetified the man who she thought had rapped her and innocently made the wrong choice. Dean, the man falsely imprisoned, sat in jail for 14 years before he was released. After Loretta, the woman who was rapped, talked with Doctor Phil and her husband she can to terms with the fact she had sent an innocent man to prison. Dean and Loretta were united and she had her chance to apologize, which she very much took.
This court case reminds of "The Cruible" in a lot of ways. For Example, an innocent man was locked up for 14 years before being released into society for a crime he didn't commit. All the women who were "hanged" were innocent too, because in the 21st century most people have realized witchcraft doesn't exist. The women and Dean were all falsely accused of crimes/sins they did not commit. The women were hanged, while Dean rotted in prison. Dean was truly like the women from our play, some women indeed sat in prison aswell. The biggest thing they share was being punished for an action they did not commit and having people many years later realize their mistake(s).
