Parts 4 and 5:)

I watched the Bilingual/Bilingüe. She really emphasized the content of her poem. It came off as "preachy" to me. I think she rehearsed to much and didn't go with her natural flow. Overall I do think it was a sucessful proformance on the otherhand. She didn't pause for memorization and she acted confident. I also watched Writ on the Steps of Puerto Rican Harlem. It was an overall good proformance. He acted very confident and sure of himself. However, he seemed a little over done and fake. Based on his proformance he did a great job.
I think the competition is going to be fierce haha. It will be full of people who are confident with the fact that their own personalities can bring their poem to life. If you are not confident then you will not make it very far in this competition. I honestly can't wait until it is over. I hate reciting things, especailly in front of a group of people. I just want a good grade and then to be done. I want to memorize "A Red, Red Rose" it is such a beautiful poem that can warm anyone's heart. I think the website is actually kind of cool. It is nice to see videos of others proforming and to see their ability to suceed.
