Poetry Outloud

I chose the poem "Famous" for a couple of main reasons. One of those being that people call my boyfriend Famous, so it is nice to be reminded of him:) Another reason was the context of the poem. It states things that are so complex in the simplest terms. For example, "the loud voice is famous to the silence". Things can be completely opposite from eachother and be "famous" in each others world. Things however, can also enhance eachothers world and bring new insight to them, making the relevant occurance famous.
I love this poem. I didn't do it for the length or the style, I did it for the context of the poem. It explains opposites in a new way that hadn't been brought up before, at least not to me. It's fasincating to think about how things such as noise greatly impact another world, so to speak. It truly is remarkable to consider how everything in the world is enhanced or even tarnished by other occurances.
The poem I chose is one that I will love to remember and will hopefully never forget. It simplifies things and makes you think in a new fashion. It not only widenes your thinking range, but also enlightens your thought process as is. I hope I do okay on the recitation. I hate doing this sort of thing and hope I don't mess up!!
